If you’re a foodie, you won’t want to miss the 25th anniversary of Manchester’s nationally acclaimed Food & Drink Festival. Events take place across the city and in the Cathedral Gardens Festival Hub, where the much-anticipated artisan food market will be. Over the years, the likes of Jamie Oliver, Gordan Ramsay, Tom Kerridge and Fergus Henderson have been involved.

This year, in Platt Fields Park, you can enjoy far more than German beer steins. Expect traditional clothing, delicious food, live music and dancing on benches. Experience the feeling of being in an authentic Oktoberfest tent in the middle of Manchester!

Look out for the rooftop monster invasion and enjoy monstrously good events across the city. There will be a massive monster music festival, a storytelling stage, fancy dress challenges and a spooktacular monster procession.

Manchester Christmas Markets

People from all over the world flock to Manchester’s Christmas Markets to soak up the enchanted festive atmosphere. Wooden huts flood the city centre, selling an array of foodie favourites, mulled wine, Christmas gifts and goodies. The markets are free to visit and are usually open from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm.

Dates: Exact dates are not yet confirmed, but they usually take place from the 12th of November to the 22nd of December.
