We can’t wait to welcome you back to The Ainscow Hotel and our city – we’ve been busy getting everything ready for your return on the 17th of May. Less than a five-minute walk away from our hotel is Spinningfields where the quintessentially British bar and kitchen, The Lawn Club, is serving up delicious food, excellent craft beer, signature cocktails, and everything in between. Their outdoor space is spectacular, and they are back with a new menu, new cocktails and the same good vibes.

Home opened in 2015 and is the place to see theatre, dance shows and experience independent films from across the world. You can browse their bookshop, view new art in their galleries or simply relax in the café. Home has recently announced the creation of a new 400-seat socially distanced outdoor theatre space where the venue will stage musical versions of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and ‘Alice in Wonderland’.

Katina Weekender – Escape to Freight Island

The Katina Weekender is a celebration of culinary talent held at Escape to Freight Island from the 28th of May to 31st of May. The event will showcase some of the UK’s most talented cooks, cocktail makers, and best brewers. Escape to Freight Island describe it as ‘next level food and drink collaborations as well as live entertainment, exclusive talks on stage, satellite events and wine tasting. A guaranteed feast for all’.
