Anti-COVID-19 gold standard accreditation

The safety of our guests and team is our number one priority and so we’ve partnered with Best Western and Quality in Tourism (QT) to adopt a new gold standard for anti-COVID-19 cleanliness and safety. Before we re-open our doors, we’ll be independently inspected by Quality in Tourism to receive official accreditation.

Arriving & Checking-In

24 hours before your stay, we’ll send you a link so that you can check-in online. When you arrive at The Ainscow, there will be hand sanitisation units throughout the ground floor of the hotel. Guests will confirm their booking at reception (no pens or paper needed), and we’ll sanitise the credit card reader after every use. We’ll give you a room key card, personal-use toiletries and refreshments on arrival.

Social Distancing

We’ve created a new one-way system where applicable, to help maintain social distancing. Clear signage will guide guests throughout the hotel.

Cleaning

Rooms
After each stay, our specially-trained sanitisation team will disinfect all areas of the room, wearing full PPE. Our housekeeping team will then make up the room.

Reception and public spaces
A robust cleaning schedule will be in place for all public areas, with additional cleaning and sanitising overnight.

Touchpoints
High-touchpoint areas (such as the credit card reader) will be sanitised after every use. Other touchpoint areas will be cleaned regularly throughout the day.

Room Amenities

  • When you arrive, you’ll choose your toiletries and refreshments at reception- anything left in the room post-checkout will be disposed of
  • Rooms will come without decorative items such as extra cushions, throws, stationary and ornaments (but if you need any additional items, please ask our team)
  • Kettles, irons, ironing boards and hair dryers will remain in the rooms – these will be sanitised after use (we ask that you leave them out, so we know they’ve been used)
  • Items such as TV remote controls and telephone handsets will come sealed in plastic bags.

Food & Drinks

We’ve created a delicious Grab & Go breakfast to set you up for the day. Your breakfast hamper is complimentary and will include fruit, cereal bars, yoghurt, pastries and hot/cold drinks.

In line with government guidelines, we’ll be serving a selection of drinks and snacks at the bar. Enjoy in the podium area of the hotel, or in your room. Please note that we won’t accept cash payments – all transactions will need to be contactless.

Our kitchen is temporarily closed but all guests are welcome to use our Grab & Go station to pick-up takeaways (such as Uber Eats & Deliveroo). Alternatively, you can use our microwave stations (set-up in the bar area on the ground floor) to heat supermarket food. Disposable plates and cutlery will be available. Please eat in the podium area, or in your room.

Check-Out

Simply drop your key card in our express check-out box. We’ll sanitise all key cards, ready for the next guest. If you need to leave luggage with us, we have a self-serve storage room available.
