Where temples crumble and ancient spirits stir, you can tackle the Tropical Trail or the Ancient Explorer courses with a chance to brave the 19th hole and win a free round. The Tiger Who Came to Tea and the adventures of Mog the Forgetful Cat, Z-Arts

A 3D immersive exhibition where you can discover more about the world of Judith Kerr’s books suitable for ages 0-8. You can join the Tiger for his tea and learn more about his visit that surprised Sophie and her mummy. Make a magical trip and open the door to the real-life world of Mog the Forgetful Cat. See if you can find the Crocodile under the bed and meet Katinka with the magical tail. Running until September 4th 2021.

I Spy self-guided quiz, People’s History Museum

Ideally located near our hotel in Spinningfields, these free family sessions are the ideal way to explore the galleries. There are 16 treasures to find and some are real artefacts. Why not make it more interesting and bring your own binoculars or magnifying glass for some real close-up action? Work your way through and explore past, present, and future ideas worth fighting for. No need to worry about food and drink – The People’s History Museum has a shop and a new café and bar.

Kids eat free, Yard and Coop

Feeding the family on days out can be an expensive job, but at Yard and Coop kids eat free during the school holidays. Available Monday to Friday between 12pm and 5.30pm with every adult meal ordered. The whole family gets to enjoy the best buttermilk fried chicken in town, whilst the kids are kept entertained with crayons and Lego. Yard and Coop is ideally located in the Northern Quarter, making it an ideal stop if you’ve had a day shopping and exploring.

With plenty going on over the summer holidays, Kickair is the UK’s largest indoor freestyle park based in Manchester city centre. They have something for energetic kids of all ages, from trampolining to rock climbing, soft play to dodgeball. You can even take part in the ninja warrior assault course.
